Self Care Heroes

I'm going to hold my hands and say it - I'm terrible when it comes to looking after my skin! Don't get me wrong, I do want I need to do on a daily basis and I like to throw in the occasional face mask or  treatment every now and again but other than that, I'm terrible.

As we're all currently still on lockdown and don't seem to be going anywhere at the moment, I seem to have all the time in the world and as I'm slowly coming up to the last year of my twenties, I'm thinking now is as good a time as any to invest and actually treat my skin to the love it deserves....

And I'm really craving a facial right now so until I'm allowed out and can see people again, I'm on my own.

I took to the web and ordered a couple bits and what to tell you what I thought.

So apparently, clay masks didn't exist in my house so I picked up from The Inkey List as I'm currently using some of their other products and they're really affordable  - which is an added bonus. The Kaolin Mask is really gentle and perfect for sensitive skin. After 10 minutes, my face was baby soft!

Pixi Glow is something I used to have in my stash and though as I was making an order, I'd pick up another bottle. It's a lovely little exfoliating toner which is great for AM & PM. Definitely leaves my skin looking radiant and I love that I get a little tingle when I use it.

The Ordinary is a brand I've wanted to try forever and just never got round to it. I picked up a couple products to try but the only one I've tried so far is the Peeling Solution - you know the famous little mask that leaves you red faced, literally! I've only used this once so far and boy, is it powerful. I could feel this one working! 10 minutes is all you need and my skin was so soft! Loved it but definitely a mask I'll be using just once a week!

What products have been saving you through isolation?
