Black on Black

2016 has been a year of many things and the 90's trend is one of them. Everything from chokers to velvet and somehow the 3/4 length trousers? I don't know either. My favourite thing to have made a comeback is the backpack. If you don't have one then where have you been, they are life changing.

I've had a love/hate relationship with them if I'm honest. I had one a couple years back which I used on and off but over this past year may backpack has been my best friend.
I started this year off with one from Firetrap which I used daily for work! (I carry a lot with me everyday that a handbag just doesn't cut it). With daily use as you can imagine my beloved bag had seen better days so it was time to retire that and invest in a new one.

Back in July, I was contacted by Emma from Charlie Feist who manufacture vegan backpacks. She very kindly offered me a £10 off code to put towards a bag of my choice. So lets fast forward to now, my Firetrap backpack has died a death and I needed a new one. The website offered about 5/6 different colours, I went for black (no surprise there).
Delivery was amazing! It's free by the way and my bag came really quickly. I ordered it on Tuesday afternoon and it arrived on Wednesday! I was so impressed! It even comes with its own dust bag.
I used it the other day when I went to stay with Lucy, it held my 13" Macbook Air in the laptop pocket comfortable as well as my knitting (yes I knit), camera, mini tripod, purse etc in the main pocket.

The bags are suitable for everyone as they are made from scuba-grade neoprene and vegan leather accents. FYI in case you wondered, yes, they are waterproof! This has been tried and tested this week, trust me.

I love my new backpack and would highly recommend them if you are a student or even if you just carry a lot of stuff like I do. For £59.99 you can't really go wrong. I would definitely buy from Charlie Feist again! Check them out: www.charliefeist.com
