Coveted: Burberry, Aesop, Jo Malone...

I'm so glad we have moved out of winter and are well on the way to what seems like a promising spring.
One of my favourite things to do at the this time of year, is to pack away the heavy things like jumpers and foundations and say hello to light, fresh makeup and sweet smelling fragrances. (I can't wait to get spraying my Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess!) With spring in mind, I thought I'd treat myself to some new bits I've been dying to try whilst on a recent trip to London as I don't have access to the same stores up north.

I didn't actually go too mad in the aisles as most of this was bought on a trip to Westfield and in duty free - mainly duty free okay so maybe you could say I did splurge just a little bit.
I've being wanting to try Aesop for quite some time now, eyeing up the parsley seed mask but never made it to the till so when my sister recommended some bits she's tried for the brand, now was as good a time as any to dip my toes in the Aesop waters. I picked up the hand cream, lip cream, lip balm and the hand wash I'll keep you updated on how I find them.

With the weather getting warmer, I really wanted to get some lighter fragrances and what better place to have a sniff than Jo Malone. I've wanted to try out their scents and after much deliberating and perfume pairing I took the plunge and went for Earl Grey & Cucumber and Blue Agava & Cacao, both scents I would normally never look at but I fancied a change and wanted to go fresh for spring.

Hands down, Heathrow terminal 5 has become my new favourite shopping destination! It's a new found slice of heaven for me but hell on earth for my bank card *sorry Natwest* After a pretty good spending session, I starting thinking about how much I would like to get a new purse after I'd be lusting for one for a while. With shops like Mulberry, Prada and Smythsons I just couldn't help but take a look at the goodies they had in store plus chatting to my sister didn't help my already very easily persuaded mind. I walked into Burberry and walked out with a purse! I just don't know how it happened but I couldn't be happier! It's my new baby and I can't wait to start using it.
